Granite Tropicals is a regional specialty breeder of fresh water tropical fish for the aquarium hobby located in Snohomish County, Washington.  We are approximately 1 hour north of Seattle.

Our primary focus is to establish breeding colonies of hard to find freshwater fish that:

1. 1. Are not typically found in our average Local Fish Store (LFS)
   2. Are not cost-effectively available
   3. Produced from healthy, local stock and not subject to disease-inducing stress from prolonged import shipping

We typically obtain our breeding stock through other established and respected breeders, hobbyists, and - in limited cases - select importers.  

We do not do online sales, nor do we ship fish.  We sell only by appointment to those in our area who are willing to make the trip.
